Historic London Peruvian Wharf (originally named Peruvian Guano Wharf) site has laid vacant for many years but was purchased in 2016 by the Port of London Authority and Brett Aggregates subsequently leased part of the site, including the 200-meter quay, to establish a river-fed aggregates hub with a high-output concrete batching plant in the heart of East London. Following photos I took back in 2014 when during one hot summer afternoon I discovered “free” accees to fenced location to give me an opportunity to explore this desolate site.
